In 1880, the first summer of both the town’s and the railroad’s existence; records show that 6,000 travelers a month came to Salida, Colorado. Railroad workers and miners flocked to the young town which became a major intersection for both narrow and standard gauge rail.

General Policies We suggest advanced reservations. To hold a room we require a deposit equal to one night's lodging or 50% of your total stay (whichever is greater). The balance and tax is due upon arrival. Reservations made less than 2 weeks in advance can be secured with a Credit Card.

CANCELLATIONS
Your deposit will be refunded less $10.00 if your reservation is cancelled 2 weeks prior to your arrival (30 days if holiday or special event). If you cancel your reservation within the 2 weeks prior to your arrival, your deposit will be forfeited unless the room can be rented, in which case there will be only the $10.00 cancellation fee.
